Technique Linocut engraved with a gouge. The plate was printed in brown and white.
Format Total Size: 66 x 49 cm.
Print Run 175 copies of the final version, signed in red pencil and numbered with a stamp in black ink from “1” to “175”. The format is 100 x 67 cm. Brigitte Baer mentions that some 20 artist’s proofs were printed on the same paper, of which five were probably signed.
Classification Original poster designed entirely by Picasso. No works were done “avant la lettre”.
Reproductions This poster has been reproduced as a joint motif with a ceramic piece by another artist, in the print run of posters for the exhibition of Picasso’s linocuts, and ceramics by Clement, Delphin and Jerome Massier, held at the Musée Municipal de Vallauris, from July 21 to September 30, 1979.
