Li Shan is a member of the New Freehand Expressionist (NFE) movement originating in Chongqing China. This movement includes contemporary artists such as internationally recognized Xu Zhigang and flu Iundi. After 20 years as a professional artist. Li’s diverse talents and creativity is now leading the growing NFE Chongqing branch piloting the current evolution and innovations of
the movement.

Li Shan Graduated in 1998 from Workshop 1 0f the Oil Painting Department 0f Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a bachelor’s degree. Continued training at Arts & Media Department of Zurich University
