A creative journey which started in her youth, Beti learned the power of art and its exceptional ability to tell a story. Whether it is a painting of a loved one or a beloved pet, a lovely garden of Irises or a memory of an island once visited, art is in cherishing a moment in an evocative way.

Beti’s creative studies continued after high school at Art Center College of Design, in California where she studied illustration. Invited to Hawaii, she apprenticed with European artists and teachers, Eva and America Makk. After a few years in Hawaii, she worked three jobs and sold everything to pursue art studies in Florence, Italy at the Studio Art Centers International (SACI) and the studios of Joseph Sheppard. Beti returned to California, married her childhood crush, and furthered her artistic studies with Vern Wilson, and California plein-air artist, Theodore Lukitz. She then moved to the Sierras to study nature and raise her family.
In the late ’90s, Beti moved to Las Vegas. She has throughout her career created over three hundred murals for private residences, casinos, and businesses. Beti continues to accept commissions for portrait work and original paintings.
As author and co-author of several books, Beti’s latest book is a memoir titled, ‘Still Standing’ commissioned by art collector Mr. Pfaff. Also, in tribute to Danny Thomas and the 50th anniversary of St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital Beti’s work is displayed at St Jude’s in Memphis, Tennessee. Beti has received several honors for her original paintings, a Las Vegas public mural commission, and she has published her book of art and inspiration; Persephone and Polka Dot Shoes. Dream to Launch is a book co-authored with A.D. Cook, along with Nevada’s only craft-beer dedicated ‘brewspaper’, Nevada Beer Quest. She also home-brews in her spare time, and occasionally dips her paintbrush in beer just because it adds a little flavor to her paintings.
