Artist’s Biography

Born in the famous port of Callao in Peru in 1960, Burga is considered one of the best portrait artists that ever live in South America. His work is not limited to human beings, having painted portraits of famous animals, including horses. Burga studied painting in the Ateliers of well-known painters such as Suarez-Vertis and Tello Montalvo, where he perfected his already sophisticated technique.
