With numerous Las Vegas theme artwork pieces under his belt, LeRoy Neiman brings the beauty and glitz of Las Vegas to his Original, One-of Kind piece “The Girls of Caesar’s Palace”- Wine Goddess painting. This piece was originally commissioned by Caesar’s Palace, where it was displayed in their poker room. To go along with its’ Roman Empire theme, the painting depicts a beautiful woman carrying a carafe of wine, along with a statue of Julius Caesar beside her. Painted in 1980, LeRoy used a palette knife and a brush technique applied over a background of broad strips of color, showing through to the top layer.
