Classification This poster was designed by Mourlot, using as subject one of the 29 pencil drawings done by Picasso on February 5, 1950. These drawings were reproduced in Paul Eluard’s book, Le Visage de la Paix, published in Paris in 1951, to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the French communist party, in 1950.
Reproductions The drawing used as the motif of this poster was reproduced in the posters published for the World Peace Congress, held in Vienna in 1952.
